Clonbur (an Fhairche)

Clonbur sits on the narrow strip between Lough Mask and Lough Corrib, where you can throw a stone into two different lakes from the one spot. The village connects via the R345, about 40 kilometers north from Galway on the N84 then west at Headford, or 35 kilometers south from Castlebar. The winding roads offer grand views across both lakes as you approach this unique isthmus location. For electric vehicles, you'll want to charge up in Headford or Ballinrobe before making the journey, as there's limited charging locally.
