Cliffoney

Ireland

Ireland

Cliffoney sits on the Wild Atlantic Way in County Sligo, perfectly positioned between the Dartry Mountains and Donegal Bay. The village connects via the R279 off the N15, about 25 kilometers north of Sligo town and 35 kilometers south of Donegal town. It's a popular stop for touring drivers, with decent electric charging facilities and easy access to Bundoran's attractions just 15 kilometers up the coast. The village sits directly beneath Benbulben, that distinctive flat-topped mountain that inspired so much of Yeats' poetry about this corner of Ireland.
