Clachnaharry lies on Inverness's western fringe, where the Caledonian Canal meets the Beauly Firth. Reach it via the A9 to Inverness, then local roads through the city's residential areas. The community sits close to the A82 Highland route and benefits from excellent transport links, including nearby Inverness Airport. Most notable are the Muirtown Locks, where canal boats climb through four consecutive locks from sea level.
