Churchtown (Cork)

Churchtown sits on the N20 about 25 kilometers northwest of Cork city, making it a handy stop between Cork and Limerick. It's a 30-minute drive from Cork through the northern suburbs, or 45 kilometers south from Limerick on the same route. The R522 connects it to nearby Mallow and the Blackwater Valley communities. The town gets its name from the Church of Ireland parish church at its center, built in the early 1800s with a limestone tower you can spot from the main road. There's good electric vehicle charging infrastructure along this corridor.
