Chudleigh sits in the Teign Valley just off the A38, making it handy for exploring South Devon. Junction 31 gives direct access from the Devon Expressway, with Newton Abbot 15 minutes south and Exeter 20 minutes northeast. The town serves as a useful base for Dartmoor or the coast, with Exeter Airport about 25 kilometers away. The Rock House, carved into the cliff face, has been lived in for over 700 years.
