Chithurst lies in the South Downs between Midhurst and Petersfield, reached via the A272 from the A3 or through country lanes from surrounding villages. With over 50 EV charging points nearby and the rolling chalk downland providing scenic routes, it's popular with both local traffic and visitors. The village houses Chithurst Buddhist Monastery, where Theravada monks practice forest meditation in a converted Victorian country house.
