Chilton Moor is a former pit village in County Durham, positioned between Durham and Sunderland via the A690. The A1(M) provides connections for longer journeys, whilst local routes serve commuters heading to nearby towns. Electric vehicle charging is readily available with numerous fast chargers in the area. The Victorian primary school from 1877 remains the village's most recognisable landmark.
