Childerditch

Childerditch is a small Essex settlement on the A128 between Brentwood and the Thames Estuary, with easy access to Junction 29 of the M25. Popular routes include the A127 from London and local connections via the A128 to Brentwood's railway station. The area sits on gently rolling London Clay countryside dotted with farms and woodland. The name derives from Old English "cildera dic," meaning "children's ditch," after a medieval boundary marker.
