Chiddingstone Hoath lies in the Kent Weald between Tonbridge and Edenbridge, reached via the A25 or country lanes from the M25. The village sits on elevated Wealden ground amongst ancient woodland and farms, with narrow roads connecting to Penshurst and Hever. The triangular village green is bordered by traditional weatherboarded cottages and features a Victorian postbox still in daily use.
