This 800-person community sits between the Capital Beltway and the DC border, making it popular with commuters using Connecticut Avenue or nearby Friendship Heights Metro. The distinctive stone entrance markers along Connecticut Avenue still mark the boundaries of this historic subdivision, one of five original sections developed by the Chevy Chase Land Company.
