Chedzoy lies in the Somerset Levels east of Bridgwater, reached via the A39 and local roads through this distinctive wetland landscape. Most visitors arrive from M5 Junction 23, whilst locals use the network of lanes connecting villages across the Levels. The village church houses a remarkably preserved 14th-century wooden effigy of an armoured knight.
