Chatteris lies in the Cambridgeshire Fens, reached via the A142 from Ely or the A141 from Huntingdon. The town serves as a useful crossing point between the A14 and A47 corridors, with about 40 fast EV chargers available. Its weekly market has traded continuously since 1227, making it one of England's oldest still operating in its original spot.
