Chase Cross occupies the eastern edge of Greater London, where suburban streets meet Essex countryside in the Borough of Havering. The A12 Eastern Avenue provides direct access to central London and onward routes to Chelmsford, whilst the nearby M25 connects to airports and motorways. With approximately 2000 EV charging points across the area and good links to Romford's transport hub, it serves as a practical residential base. The area takes its name from a medieval crossroads where ancient hunting tracks through Hainault Forest once intersected.
