Charmouth is a Dorset coastal village on the A35, three miles from Lyme Regis and popular with fossil hunters. The main route from London follows the M3, A303, then A35 past Dorchester. Local traffic uses scenic coastal roads linking nearby villages, whilst over 30 fast EV chargers serve the area. The beach is renowned for fossil hunting, where visitors find 200-million-year-old ammonites in the Blue Lias cliffs.
