Chadron anchors Nebraska's remote northwestern panhandle along US Highway 20, the main east-west route connecting it to Scottsbluff and points east toward Iowa. Most visitors arrive on US 20, while US 385 provides north-south access from Interstate 80 near Sidney, about 120 miles south.
