Cauldon

Cauldon perches on elevated ground in south Staffordshire, reached via the A523 between Leek and Ashbourne. Most visitors arrive from Stoke-on-Trent along the A520 and A523, roughly 20km through increasingly hilly terrain. The village serves as a convenient stop for those travelling between the Potteries and Peak District, with approximately 30 EV charging points nearby. The enormous limestone quarry creates a distinctive white scar across the landscape, marking one of Britain's major cement production centres.
