Catterick Garrison is one of Britain's largest army bases, located in North Yorkshire's Swale valley near Richmond. Access is straightforward via Junction 52 of the A1(M), with the A6136 leading directly to the garrison. The A6108 provides connections to Richmond and the Yorkshire Dales. The base features an enormous parade square capable of accommodating full battalion ceremonies.
