Cathcart lies 4km south of Glasgow city centre, easily reached via the M77 or A77 from the south, or Cathcart Road from central Glasgow. This former village, absorbed into Glasgow in 1912, connects well to surrounding areas like Mount Florida and Shawlands via local roads including the B762. The area has around 350 EV charging points nearby and features Linn Park, where the White Cart Water cuts through a striking sandstone gorge.
