Castlebellingham

Castlebellingham sits on the N1 between Dublin and Belfast, making it a handy stop for anyone travelling the main route north or south. The village is about 80 kilometres from Dublin and 50 from Belfast, with good access from the west via the N52 or N33. It's become popular with golfers, as Seapoint and Dundalk golf courses are both close by. There's decent charging for electric cars too, with around 30 fast chargers in the area. The Cooley Distillery nearby is worth a visit for whiskey fans. The village gets its name from the old Bellingham Castle, whose 14th-century tower you can still see from the road.
