Castle Gresley

Castle Gresley lies along the A444 in South Derbyshire, easily reached from the A38 at Burton upon Trent or via the A511 through Swadlincote. This former pit village sits within the National Forest, where old colliery sites have become woodland walks. The 14th-century Church of Saint Mark remains the village's most striking landmark, its medieval spire visible across the rolling Midlands countryside.
