Carrigart (Carraig Airt)

Carrigart sits where Mulroy Bay meets the Atlantic in County Donegal, about four hours north of Dublin via the N2 and N56, or two and a half hours from Belfast using the A5 and N56. The N56 connects the village to Letterkenny, 30 kilometers southeast, while the coastal R245 links nearby spots like Dunfanaghy and Creeslough. Eight fast EV charging stations serve the area for those touring the Wild Atlantic Way. The village harbor still welcomes traditional púcáns, those distinctive fishing boats with black-tarred hulls and red sails that have worked these waters for centuries.
