Carrigallen

Carrigallen is a small County Leitrim town near the borders of three counties in Ireland's northwest midlands. The N87 regional road provides the main route through, connecting Cavan 25 kilometres east with onward links to Sligo westward. From Dublin, it's roughly 150 kilometres via the M4, N4, then regional roads north. The area serves local farming communities and golfers heading to courses like Farnham Estate and Slieve Russell. The town center has a distinctive triangular market square, a remnant of its planned estate village origins from the early 1800s.
