Carleton forms part of Carlisle's northern suburbs, easily reached via Junction 42 or 43 off the M6, then the A689. The A7 runs north to Scotland whilst the A69 heads east to Newcastle. With over 50 EV charging points around Carlisle and the Lake District's fells visible to the south, it's a convenient base for exploring both the Roman heritage of Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding countryside.
