Cargo Fleet forms part of eastern Middlesbrough, developed around the Victorian-era ironworks that gave the area its name. Access via the A1085 from Middlesbrough centre or the A19 from further afield, with over 100 EV charging points across the wider area. The neighbourhood retains original terraced streets built for ironworks employees, with road names still reflecting its industrial past.
