Caergwrle

Caergwrle is a Flintshire village near the English border, reached via the A5104 from Wrexham or Chester. The A55 provides the main long-distance connection, whilst local roads link nearby Hope and Bridge End. The village is named after the striking red sandstone castle ruins that overlook it from a nearby hill.
