It's a farming community on the edge of the Lanaudière highlands, with the Ouareau River and nearby lakes drawing summer visitors and snowmobilers in winter. EV charging is available in Joliette. Worth a look: the old Moulin banal, a 19th century grain mill still standing in the town center.
