Hébertville, QC

Hébertville sits on the west side of Lac Saint-Jean and makes an easy day trip from Alma, just 19 km down Route 169, which is the main road tying the town to Saint-Bruno, Saint-Gédéon, and the rest of the lake communities. Alma Airport (YTF) is right there too, about 19 km out, handy if you're flying in rather than driving up from Quebec City on Route 175. Charging stations are available in Alma for EV drivers passing through. The town's real claim to fame: founded in 1849, it was the first parish settlement in the whole Lac-Saint-Jean colonization push.
