Highway 97 connects it to Kelowna, Lake Country, and other Okanagan towns, with most local trips staying under 30 km for daily errands or commutes, while longer drives to Vernon or Peachland make for a good weekend outing. The real draw here is Ellison Provincial Park on Ellison Lake, a favourite with scuba divers thanks to its marked underwater trail, one of the few of its kind in BC.
