Brosna (Offaly)

Brosna is a quiet midlands town in County Offaly, positioned along the River Brosna where rolling pastures meet scattered woodlands. The R357 provides the main access, with most visitors arriving via the M7 to Junction 23 near Roscrea, then heading north through Cloughjordan, about 90 minutes from Dublin. Birr lies just 13 kilometres east and serves as the nearest proper town for day-to-day needs. The old stone bridge crossing the river near the town centre remains the community's focal point, where locals have gathered for generations.
