Broompark is a County Durham village reached via the A167 from Durham city or Newcastle. The A1(M) motorway sits 10km east for longer journeys, whilst the B6532 serves local routes to Ushaw Moor and Bearpark. With over 200 EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The village preserves its mining heritage through the old Pithead Baths building, now an auto parts shop with original Victorian railings intact.
