Bronllys

Bronllys lies in the Brecon Beacons between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, accessed via the A470 from Cardiff or the A479 from Abergavenny. This small Powys village makes an excellent base for exploring the Black Mountains and central Beacons peaks. The 12th-century castle ruins, perched dramatically on a mound above the River Llynfi valley, dominate the village centre.
