Broadwell is a tiny Logan County farming community along Route 121, about 20 miles from Springfield. Most visitors arrive via I-55 Exit 123, then head west on 121 for 3 miles through flat prairie farmland. The town sits on the old Chicago and Alton Railroad line, with remnants of the original railroad grade still visible alongside the highway.
