Britstown, in the Northern Cape Karoo, sits right where the N12 and N10 cross, so it's a handy stop if you're doing the long haul between Kimberley and Cape Town, or heading down to De Aar (just 55km) for supplies. Sheep farming country, flat as a pancake, with the old sandstone Dutch Reformed church visible from the N12 long before you hit town. EV charging is thin on the ground here, so plan your stops around De Aar or Kimberley.
