Bridge Ball lies amid North Devon's moorland between Cheriton and the Lynmouth area. The A39 Atlantic Highway provides main access, winding through Exmoor National Park with typical Devon upland scenery. Most arrive from Barnstaple (25km) or Minehead (30km), whilst local routes connect Lyn Valley villages via narrow country lanes. About 15 fast EV chargers serve the area around key settlements and junctions. The settlement takes its name from an ancient stone bridge where medieval locals played traditional ball games during harvest festivals.
