Braunton

Braunton sits 8km inland from North Devon's coast, serving as the gateway to Braunton Burrows' vast sand dunes and Saunton's surf beaches. The A361 from the M5 runs straight through the village toward Croyde and Woolacombe, whilst local routes connect to Barnstaple and the coastal loop. The Museum of British Surfing occupies a striking 1960s building in the village centre.
