Bowmanstead

Bowmanstead lies in the Lake District between Coniston Water and the surrounding Cumbrian fells, just a kilometre from Coniston itself. Access is via the A593, typically approached from Junction 36 of the M6 through the A590 and A5092, or from the north via Ambleside. With over 30 public EV charging points nearby, it's well-equipped for electric vehicle touring. The area retains visible remnants of Victorian copper mining operations that once dominated this corner of the lakes.
