Botolph's Bridge lies in Romney Marsh, that famously flat bit of Kent between Hythe and New Romney. Take the A259 coastal road or come off the M20 at Junction 11 near Hythe. It's classic marsh country - dead flat, criss-crossed with drainage channels, and sitting barely above sea level behind the sea walls.
