Blaich lies on Loch Eil's western shore in the Highlands, reached via the A830 Road to the Isles from Fort William, about 15 kilometres west. It's a popular stop for tourists heading to Skye via Mallaig, with the dramatic backdrop of Ben Nevis visible across the loch. The village station is a request stop on the West Highland Railway, one of Britain's most scenic rail routes.
