Bix is a small Chiltern Hills village in Oxfordshire, positioned between Henley-on-Thames and Nettlebed on elevated chalk downland. Access is via the A4130, with popular routes serving Henley commuters and longer journeys from Oxford or the M25 via High Wycombe. The ancient Ridgeway National Trail passes directly through the village, marking 5,000 years of continuous use as Britain's oldest road.
