Birgham is a small Borders village on the Tweed, just off the A698 between Kelso and Coldstream. The A68 from Edinburgh connects via local roads, whilst the A697 serves traffic from the south. Electric vehicle drivers will find around 17 fast chargers nearby. The village contains ruins of a 12th-century Cistercian priory where the Treaty of Birgham was signed in 1290.
