Bircotes

Bircotes is a former mining village in north Nottinghamshire, right on the South Yorkshire border near Bawtry. The A614 provides the main connection north to Doncaster and south toward Nottingham, whilst the nearby A1(M) via Bawtry offers longer-distance routes. With approximately 80 EV charging points in the area and good motorway access, it's well-connected despite its rural setting. The preserved pit head winding wheel stands as a reminder of the village's coal mining past.
