Bicknacre is a small Essex village between Chelmsford and Southend, reached via the A414 from Chelmsford then local roads through Danbury. London drivers use the A12 to Chelmsford, whilst those from Southend approach via the A130 north through East Hanningfield. The village sits 8 miles from London Southend Airport and benefits from over 80 EV charging points in the wider area. St. Andrew's Church, dating from the 12th century, contains some of Essex's finest Norman stonework.
