Bevil Oaks is a small Jefferson County city of about 1,100 people, located 10 miles northwest of Beaumont via Highway 105. Most visitors arrive from I-10 east, taking the Highway 105 exit and heading north. The route connects west to Cleveland and serves as a local commuter path to Beaumont. Named after 1800s settler Bevil Oaks, the city incorporated in 1963.
