Berriew

Berriew lies in the Powys countryside, six miles southwest of Welshpool via the A483. This small village sits in the Rhiw valley, with the B4390 providing an alternative eastern approach through rolling farmland. Local routes serve daily commuters to Welshpool, whilst longer journeys connect via the A458 to Shrewsbury and the Midlands. The village hosts one of Wales's oldest eisteddfods, running since 1850.
