Ben Lomond, AR

Ben Lomond is a tiny community of 330 people tucked into the pine-covered hills of southwestern Arkansas, about 15 miles from De Queen via US 71 and county roads. Most visitors arrive from Texarkana (45 miles) or take the scenic route from Little Rock through Arkadelphia and Gurdon. The town was named after the famous Scottish mountain by homesick settlers who thought the local rolling hills resembled the highlands of their homeland.
