Beaulieu nestled in the New Forest makes for a pleasant day out, reached via the A326 from M27 Junction 2, then the B3054 through the forest. It's about 90 minutes from London via the M3 and M27, or under an hour from Portsmouth and Winchester. The village centres on the National Motor Museum at Palace House, where you'll find the actual Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger complete with ejector seat.
