Batham Gate is a small Derbyshire settlement in the Peak District hills, five kilometres from the spa town of Buxton. The A6 provides the main access from Manchester (40km north) or Derby via the A515 (50km southeast), whilst the B5055 serves local traffic between Peak Dale and Dove Holes. Over 30 EV charging points operate in nearby Buxton. The village is named after a historic toll gate that once controlled this old coaching route.
