Barndarrig sits handily on the N11 between Dublin and Wexford, making it a grand spot for exploring County Wicklow. The village lies at the foot of the Vale of Avoca, where the Avonmore and Avonbeg rivers meet to form the Avoca, famously celebrated in Thomas Moore's "The Meeting of the Waters." It's perfectly placed for golfers, with Arklow, Woodenbridge, European Club, and Macreddin courses all close by. The R752 through the Wicklow Mountains offers a lovely alternative route, while about 30 fast chargers in the area keep electric vehicles topped up for exploring the Garden of Ireland.
