Barland

Barland is a small Powys settlement near the English border, surrounded by the gentle hills and farmland typical of the Welsh Marches. Most visitors arrive via the A44, which provides the main east-west route through this part of mid-Wales, connecting to Kington and Presteigne within 15 minutes. The village sits in the historic Radnor Forest area, where old drovers' routes once carried Welsh cattle to English markets.
