Banbridge

Banbridge sits right on the A1 between Belfast and Dublin, making it a handy stop for anyone traveling the main route. It's 40km south of Belfast and well connected to Craigavon, Newry, and Lisburn via local roads. The town serves as a proper hub for commuters across County Down and Armagh. The most striking feature is the main street's distinctive cut, carved out in the 1830s to help horse-drawn coaches manage the steep hill, creating a sunken roadway with shops perched above on either side.
